What's the blog about?

Well, pretty simple really.


My name's Ed The Saint and I, for about 10 years, taped everything off the radio that was going, session and live wise and now it's time to convert those tapes into mp3's and I thought I'd blog about what I was converting, how I was converting it and, well, throw in assorted information that might be of interest to those into their indie in the early 90's.
From time to time, I may post the odd mp3 of a track, though, as the curator of the Forgotten Band Planet (www.bandplanet.co.uk), I'm well aware of the dangers of becoming a simple mp3 blog and ending up as a kind of pirate radio station for those too cheap to pay for music.
Anything I do post I'm going to make damn sure isn't commercially or otherwise available and, as far as I'm concerned, never likely to be. Requests for tracks aren't being answered, this is at my discretion.
Also, a single request from a record label or artist and the related tracks are getting removed!
